PINION RAISES $30,000 WITH LIVELY MUSIC AND GAMES OF CHANCE AT “BOOTS AND BETS” EVENT!!
 
 
            FORT LAUDERDALE, BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The setting was perfect at the beautiful Intracoastal home of hostess, Jacqueline McCall at Pinion’s second “Boots and Bets” sponsored by The Heart Center of Excellence at Broward General Medial Center. Pinion, benefiting Special Olympics of Broward County and its Athletes, organized an evening of fun and entertainment at this popular event on Saturday, March 24th.
 
           American Idol Top 10 Finalist Jessica Sierra entertained the large crowd with songs she sang during Idol as well as some from her upcoming album, mingled with guests and signed autographs. Jessica and her management company, Verge Management, offered this gratis as Special Olympics is one of the organizations dear to their hearts.
 
            A Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament concluded at the end of the evening with a single winner receiving a Las Vegas package for 2 including, 3-night hotel stay, airfare and transfers fom egency Trael. The top five players received special prizes for their efforts!
 
            Co-Chairs Linda Eckert, Lee Sheffield and Lisa Scott-Founds and Committee, Kim Bentley, Merrie Heniser, Debra Lieberman, Sonja Mayo, Cassie Moran and Laurie Sallarulo created a special evening of fundraising for Special Olympics.  Guests enjoyed a Tex-Mex style barbecue, sipped libations donated by Southern Wine and Spirits, enjoyed the music, danced under the stars and won great Chinese and silent auction items (including a Willie Nelson signed guitar).
