Twelve Good Men came to Parrot Jungle to be honored for their contributions and support of The Ronald McDonald House of Miami, as well as other South Florida charity organizations.  Other special guests were provided by Parrot Jungle who brought in some of their "critters" to meet and greet the guests.

Luncheon guests were welcomed by Linda Levy Goldberg and James Murphy luncheon Co-Chairs and Alex Rodriguez, Board President and Soraya Rivera-Moya, Executive Director Ronald McDonald House-Miami, who thanked all the guests for attending the luncheon in support of the Twelve Good Men, as well as, for their support of Ronald McDonald House.

Celebrity emcee's for the luncheon were past honoree, Dwight Lauderdale & his Co-Anchor, Laurie Jennings  Local 10, WPLG  who were there to honor "The Twelve Good Men", that included one of their own, Dave Boylan, VP & General Manager of Local 10, WPLG.

As each of the men were introduced, they walked the runway, an unfamiliar walk for most of these men.  Although they give a lot to the South Florida community aren't quite used to being in the spotlight and on a runway at that!  Ties were straight and suit coats were buttoned and they all drew loud applause from the more than 300+ attendees who came to honor them.

Entertainment was provided by Julie Todro, event Co-Chair and a group of young women from Country Day Miami School.  A live auction was then conducted by Donna Bailey, Auction Chair for the luncheon.

WHAT: The Twelve Good Men Luncheon is the premier fundraiser to benefit The Ronald McDonald House of Miami. The purpose of the event is to honor leading men with a history of outstanding community involvement; civic service; and involvement in one or more of South Florida’s charity organizations. The money raised each year at this luncheon helps funds annual operation budget of “The House that Love Built®.”
ABOUT RMH:   The 27 bedroom Ronald McDonald House-Miami is a place where families of seriously ill children who are being treated at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center and other local hospitals can stay in a safe and loving environment during their medical crisis. Many of these families travel great distances to obtain medical treatment for their children and are in need of a place to stay that offers a loving environment.
