J. R. Dunn  Jewelers and City & Shore Magazine hosted their 3rd annual Trunk Show Preview and Private Showing of the Hottest Designs in Fall Jewelry Fashion.  The event was held at the Lighthouse Point J.R. Dunn Jewelers and benefited the Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options, Inc (JAFCO), Nova Southeastern University and the Royal Dames of Cancer Research.  Guest enjoyed Champagne, Cocktails, and beautifully presented Hor d’oeuvres from Crystal Bay Caterers as they admired the exquisite jewelry designs of Roberto Conti, Marco Bicego, Leslie Greene. Gregg Ruth, and John Hardy.  Guests enjoyed the exciting live auction of several beautiful jewelry pieces conducted by Doug Kelleher.  Yours Truly won the raffle drawing for a $2,500.00 Shopping Spree and I promptly found assistance in buying an exquisite Mikimoto pearl necklace & earrings.

Jim and Anne Marie Dunn are major supporters of countless charities in South Florida.  Their generosity and support has been recognized and greatly valued and appreciated by all those whose lives have been touched by this gracious and loving family.  Their son Sean and his wife Viviana attended the event with their beautiful son, Nicholas Alexander, who won the hearts of everyone in attendance.

Proceeds from a portion of every sale, the live auction, and the raffle, benefited the three charities.  JAFCO is a nonprofit agency established in April 1992 to provide children, from a family torn apart, with a familiar and religious environment.  Its’ services include Family Preservation through Case Management Services, Training & Licensing for Foster Care Parents, Foster Care Placement, Supervision Support Services, Adoption and Post Adoption Services, “Forever Friends” Mentoring Program, Emergency Shelter, and Group Homes.
