50 Shades Theme Raises Money for Pinion and Special Olympics
The author of the wildly successful series, 50 Shades of Gray, would no doubt have been pleased that her racy theme would be used to help raise money for Pinion and Special Olympics of Broward County during the annual Membership Luncheon that was held at the Capital Grill. Christian Gray, himself, would have swooned at the fabulous outfits that the more than 100 attendees donned in support of the theme that had everyone giggling.
Attendees were treated to a sumptuous luncheon that included a Chinese-style auction and plenty of wine, courtesy of Southern Wine & Spirits. Guests even got to test their “50 Shades” knowledge through the annual trivia contest!
“We were so happy to return to Capital Grill again this year,” said event co-chair Lisa Scott-Founds. “They always do such a fantastic job for us and are so supportive of Pinion and Special Olympics.”
“Our sponsors enable us to provide valuable goods and services to Special Olympics of Broward County,” said Lee Sheffield, event co-chair. “We couldn’t do it without their tremendous support.”
