Monica Puig introduced Don Slesnick, Mayor of City of Coral Gables, who gave a warm welcome to the guests and honorees and then introduced Alexandra Marie and well-known Latino singing artist who sang the National Anthem. The program continued with the presentation of the awards to the 12 “amazing women of virtue”. Outstanding professional women in our community who through their virtue and their work bring about social and economic change, support of other women, serve as outstanding role models, and demonstrate outstanding performance within their professions to further advance women in their fields.
Featured speaker was Dr. Carmen Harra, Internationally recognized psychologist and best- selling author whose unique and unconventional approach to therapy has made her an in demand counselor to everyone from Presidents and First Ladies to Hollywood royalty.
