2010 Style & Substance Honorees
The Symphony of the Americas Society hosted its annual“Substance & Style Luncheon”onNovember 30, 2010at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty Six. This eventhonors outstanding individuals who have distinguished themselves through their dedication and service to our community. “It was an honor to conduct the Symphony’s String Orchestra at the luncheon in celebration of our esteemed honorees,” said internationally acclaimed Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese, Artistic Director of the Symphony.
The annual Style & Substance Luncheon benefited the Symphony of the Americas Educational Programs, which reach over 15,000 Broward County students annually. Maestro James Brooks-Bruzzese and the Symphony are dedicated to improving the lives of children through the magic of music. Recently designated as a Broward County major cultural institution, the Symphony has partnered with the Broward Cultural Council, the Boys & Girls Club, the Bonnet House, and the Broward County Schools to provide music to children at risk.
