TEN LOCAL CHARITIES BENEFIT FROM THE GALLERIA’S MEN OF STYLE SHOPPING NIGHT PRESENTED BY SIGNATURE GRAND
The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale once again hosted its signature Men of Style Shopping Night presented by Signature Grand to raise funds for the Art & Culture Center of Hollywood, ArtServe, Deliver the Dream, Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre, HANDY, Junior Achievement of South Florida, Leadership Broward Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida, United Way of Broward and Women in Distress of Broward County. It was a memorable night as ten of Broward’s most recognized leading men of style walked the runway in fashions from Dillard’s: Davone Bess, Richard French, David Guzman, Oscar Llorente, Bill Lutes, Brett Rose, Marc Schoenfeld, Shea Smith, Tom Triozzi and Randall Vitale.
“We had a great success this year thanks to Signature Grand, Dillard’s and the more than 500 party-goers who helped to raise more than $23,000 for local charities,” said Melissa Milroy, marketing manager at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale. “The Galleria is committed to the community and we look forward to hosting this great event and others in the coming year.”
The Galleria’s fourth annual Men of Style Shopping Night presented by Signature Grand provided 100% of the event proceeds to the 10 participating local charities. As an added bonus, Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre received an additional $1,000 for selling the most tickets to the event.
From the event start, guests enjoyed some of their favorite foods and bar selections from Blue Martini, Truluck’s, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, The Melting Pot, Bluebell Ice Cream, Sbarro’s and Winn-Dixie. Event sponsors and contributors also included lead sponsor Signature Grand, Bitner Goodman, CBS4, City & Shore Magazine and Dillard’s.
The highlight of the evening was the men of style honorees on the catwalk for a men’s fashion show presented by Dillard’s and hosted by Jawan Strader, CBS4 morning news anchor.
Event attendees received the exclusive Men of Style Shopping Night “Passport of Savings,” featuring store incentives valued at far more than the cost of the event ticket from select mall retailers and restaurants, including: Macy’s, Dillard’s, Banana Republic, Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor, P.F. Chang’s, Truluck’s, Season’s 52 and more.
Guests also took part in a great raffle with prizes from Radisson St. Martin Resort, Gallery One, Truluck’s, The Capital Grille, PRP International and Coral Ridge Country Club.
