The Broward Education Foundarion's 15th Annual Scholarship Celebration!
STEP INTO THE 80'S
Per, Jennifer L. Gottlieb, "My fellow School Board members and I are very proud of this event because it is not only a good time, but it is for a good cause - helping students fulfill their dreams of continuing their educations."
"Almost 25 years ago, a need was brought to light that even afer exhausting all financial options, many qualified high school graduates could not afford to continue their educations. The Broward EducationFoundation began the BRACE Scholarship Fund to address this need."
"The BRACE Scholarship Fund has helped over 3,510 students by providing $7.2 million dollars in scholarships! These students would not have been able to achieve their goals of obtaining college educations without the scholarship fund and the hard work of the Broward Education Foundation. The Scholarship Fund, however, is just one way the Foundation is helping our students."
"Since 1983, the Foundation has helped tens of thousands of students and educators through a variety of scholarships, endowments and other financial resources. The Foundation continues to have a tremendous impact on education here in Broward County - this organization has literally changed the lives of students by providing hope and the means for them to go to college."
By developing, promoting, and funding emerging initiatives that benefit the community, the Foundation serves as a direct support organization of Broward County Public Schools, offering scholarships, teacher grants, classroom supplies, and district-wide recognition that provide opportunities for individuals to develop their potential skills. The Foundation serves as a catalyst for educational excellence. www.BrowardEdFoundation.net
