Kicks off the Holiday Season

 

The social event of the season, The Moet & Chandon Champagne Winterfest Black Tie Ball presented by Two Oceans South Africa and Patron, was held on Saturdy, December 5, 2009. 

Winterfest transformed the Seminole Hard Rock Live into a star-studded evening that dazzled guests from the moment they walked the red carpet into the JM Lexus Reception.  Guests enjoyed the flow of champagne and drinks as music and entertainment filled the air throughout the Fidelity Investments Silent Auction which featured hundreds of gift items including, jewels, cruises, vacations, sports memorabilia, art and so much more.  Carroll's Jewelers booth displayed the Winterfest charm bracelet.

Guests then moved into the transormed main attraction as the Seminole Hard Rock Live became a beautifully decorated ballroom by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with lighting ambiances reflective of the entertainment venues of movies, theater and music of many generation by Sixth Star Entertainment and Marketing.  Winterfest welcomed back The Edge for a repeat performance that kepts guests dancing throughout the night.  The live auction items included a 2010 IS250C convertible (MSRP of $39,000.00), a shopping spree from Carroll's Jewelers, Trans-Atlantic Cruise for two compliments of Costa Cruises, VIP Wine Trip in Napa courtesy of Southern Wine & Spirits, airline tickets from Southwest Airlines and more.

Special recognition was given to Arlette Spaniak, a long time supporter of the Winterfest, as 2009's "Belle of the Ball".
