What do you enjoy the most about your work? I love the challenge of evaluating a company’s strengths and weaknesses and coming up with integrated strategies for their marketing and business development needs.
Is there a charitable event(s) you really look forward to attending each year? There are so many to choose from but one of my absolute favorites is Arc Broward’s Delish. I am a total foodie and I love talking to the student chefs about their dishes every year. Delish is being held on May 3rd this year at the Gallery of Amazing Things. I can’t wait to eat my way through!
What is your idea of perfect happiness? We all know that nothing in life is perfect, it’s all about making the most out of every situation and enjoying living in the moment. So for me the idea of happiness is being around my family and loved ones and just enjoying life to its fullest potential.
How do you relax? I love reading outdoors or by the ocean. But it doesn’t matter where I am, I always have my e-reader pre-loaded with various books and when I’m on the go, I have audible books ready to listen to as well. This works particularly well when I’m driving to and from Miami for clients, I don’t get upset in traffic anymore because I can just get immersed in a good book.
Do you have a favorite vacation spot? My go to place is North Eleuthera in the Bahamas. I never get tired of the beauty of the turquoise waters. I go for beach & nature walks every day when I’m there and every day I see something different. It truly is a paradise.
What is something your parents taught you that you will never forget?
My parents were my biggest influencers and something they drilled into me from an early age was to have and show Kindness towards everyone. It doesn’t cost you anything and you never know when you can have a major impact on someone’s life by just being kind.
What is your favorite room in your house? For me that has to be the kitchen! I love to cook and I love it when family and friends are over and we all hang out in the kitchen.
What is your greatest indulgence? Ice cream!
What is your pet peeve? People that are driving and texting at the same time. I commute to Miami several times a week and deal with crazy drivers that are texting while they are veering into my lane – and this is in the Express Lanes!
Rosy, thanks so much for agreeing to be part of my "Have You Met" feature on Blacktie-Southflorida.
