Statement of Purpose: | SUDS is a non profit 501c3 designed to improve the lives of our nations injured service members who served in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. SUDS utilized the sport of SCUBA diving to help facilitate the rehabilitation process and to promote mobility. Offering SCUBA provides our nations Service Members with a sport they can enjoy throughout their life. SUDS has certified hundreds of Service members and with the help of the generosity of supports will continue to help those who have given so much to our great nation. SUDS ( Soldiers Undertaking Disabled SCUBA ) was established in February of 2007 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC and a chapter of Disabled Sports USA. |
