Statement of Purpose: The mission of the Fort Lauderdale Woman’s Club is to engage the women as volunteers who want to make a recognizable difference in addressing civic, educational, cultural and humanitarian needs in our community and beyond. FLWC promotes charitable and educational activities through volunteerism. We award one or more annual scholarships to deserving high school senior girls, coordinate activities with fellow Woman’s Clubs and other local groups, support local, national, and international charities through money and/or goods. The Club is a [501(c)(3)] not for profit with Federal Tax ID number 59- 0673290. We have programs on health, civic issues, education, art, home and family concerns, and international affairs. We encourage leadership and participation of women of all ages.
